SOME GENERAL GUIDELINES
My belief is that your tarot reading should be just that… yours. That means that the questions you ask and the guidance you seek should be about you and for your good. My experience, however, is that people want to focus their readings on other people and as a tarot reader who wants to bring healing and empowerment to my clients, I do not practice tarot in that way.
FOCUS ON YOURSELF
I ask in my intake form if there is another person you wish me to look at energetically, but I want to emphasize that I will only look at that person in terms of how they relate to you. The best way to ask about another person is not “What does (person) feel about me?” but instead to ask “Why am I so confused and uncertain about how (person) feels about me?”
FOCUS ON FORWARD MOVEMENT
I get a lot of questions like “Why won’t (person) call me back?” or “What did (person) treat me the way they did?” And I understand why those questions seem like they are what you want to ask. But, the best question is usually “Why am I unable to close this chapter with (person), accept the reality of the situation, and begin to heal?”
